Penisola del Sinis Cooperative manages the day-to-day operation of some of the peninsula’s most important cultural sites, providing visitor services, organising tours and supporting visitors throughout their experience.
On behalf of the Mont’e Prama Foundation, the cooperative manages visitor services at the Giovanni Marongiu Civic Museum, the Tharros Archaeological Site, the Spanish Tower of San Giovanni di Sinis, the Mont’e Prama Archaeological Site and the Hypogeum of San Salvatore.
Its activities include ticket office services, guided tours, educational itineraries, the operation of the Tharros Panoramic Road Train, and dedicated programmes for schools and organised groups.
The cooperative also works closely with the Municipality of Cabras, the Archaeological Superintendence of Cagliari, Oristano and Bologna, the Sinis Peninsula – Mal di Ventre Island Marine Protected Area, cultural associations and tourism operators throughout the region.
