Located in the heart of the Sinis Peninsula, the Mont’e Prama Archaeological Site preserves one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in Sardinia. It was here, during the 1970s, that the fragments of the celebrated Giants of Mont’e Prama were unearthed—monumental stone sculptures that have become enduring symbols of the Nuragic civilisation and the ancient history of the Mediterranean.

The Mont’e Prama Archaeological Site is the place where the celebrated Giants of Mont’e Prama were discovered, one of the most important archaeological finds in the Mediterranean.
Located within the Sinis Peninsula, the site preserves the Nuragic necropolis where, during the 1970s, the fragments of the monumental stone sculptures were unearthed. Today, these statues remain among the most recognisable symbols of ancient Sardinia and its millennia-old history.
Visiting Mont’e Prama offers the opportunity to explore the original archaeological discovery site and to understand the historical context in which the Giants of Mont’e Prama, the nuraghe models and the artefacts recovered from the necropolis were created and later uncovered.
